Dear Kompanja family,
this year is going to be super special: Kompanja is turning 10!

We would like to celebrate this anniversary with you—in the most beautiful place imaginable: at the Kompanja family gathering at Oberprether Mühle. 

From June 12th to 14th, 2026, we warmly invite you to experience a weekend together full of community, nature, and Kompanja spirit. Our program is currently being planned, but you can look forward to some new activities! As always, there will be opportunities to chat, relax, explore, and enjoy together: workshops, small excursions, campfire evenings, shared meals – but with some surprises for the anniversary.

Contribution: To help us organize the weekend well and keep it super family-friendly, this year there's just a small contribution of €25 per adult – kids join for free.

For 2026, there's a limit of 120 pitches.

We're super excited to look back at 10 years of Kompanja with you and kick off the next 10 years together!

Location

We will meet at Oberprether Mühle. There you will find a natural campsite, far away from noisy roads and cell phone reception, in the middle of the Eifel region. With your camping ticket, you can camp on the site from Friday to Sunday. For those who don't want to pack so much, there is a small beer garden with food and drinks. You can pre-order bread rolls in the evening at the kiosk.

Getting Here

When using your GPS, please enter Hollerath, Prethtalstr. 53 as a waypoint. Otherwise, you might end up on one of the forest roads.

The Oberprether Mühle, not far from Cologne, is a magical place: unspoiled, located directly on a stream, surrounded by forests and meadows. No concrete, no traffic noise, no fences—just a breathtaking starry sky and pure freedom for young and old alike.

Whether you're little or grown-up, Wilde Wiese has a program that'll get everyone excited. We've got probably the best kids' disco in the world, a music garden with live bands and DJs for the afternoon and early evening, and a big party for the adults once the little ones are asleep. Here, you'll play, dance, and celebrate – and that's how the special magic of Wilde Wiese happens: community.
